Paella

It’s impossible to spend a summer holiday in Mallorca without trying one of the most famous dishes in Spanish cuisine at least once. Seafood paella, vegetable paella, “black” paella with cuttlefish. Authentic Italy: pinsas and slow-cooked lasagna

Located over the pool with views of the mountains, the Veranda Restaurant has been transformed and returned to its origins: traditional Italian cuisine. The lunchtime menu offers a fantastic choice of “pinsas”, a delicious flatbread similar to a classic pizza but far lighter, fluffier and easier to digest. It’s made with a dough consisting of wheat flour and soy flour, marinated with aromatic herbs and accompanied by very lightly cooked or fresh ingredients, such as 100% buffalo mozzarella.

If you love a great plate of pasta, La Veranda invites you to try the tasty meat lasagna, made to the traditional Italian recipe and made even richer by using a low-temperature technique to cook the veal for no less than 36 hours. Delicious Italian dishes to enjoy on a warm Mediterranean evening.

Textured vegetables and desserts

The Mare Nostrum Signature Cuisine Restaurant specialises in offering some of the best Mediterranean dishes to savour this summer in Mallorca, including a starter that adds a new twist to classic barbecued vegetables using different textures: tomato foam, smoked sweet potato purée, air of black garlic... a tasty, healthy and surprising delight that vegetable lovers must not miss.
