The best beaches in Andratx

The Andratx coast is one of the most beautiful coastlines on Mallorca. Framed by the beginning of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range with its spectacular peaks, cliffs and Mediterranean pines, the coves and beaches in Andratx line up to create a string of idyllic corners where you can relax and forget about the world.

Playa Camp de Mar

The Camp de Mar beach is the closest to Paguera, some 4 km from the centre of Andratx and a mere 5-minute walk from our new luxury hotel on Mallorca. It's one of the busiest, because it offers all kinds of services and perfect, white sand to rest on. There is also a small islet in the water with a restaurant, connected to land by a pretty bridge.

Playa de Ses Dones

Because of the rocky seabed this beach is also known as Roca de Camp de Mar (the rocky Camp de Mar beach). It is one of the most featured beaches on social media thanks to the exceptional beauty of its waters and the two walkways by the beach, where many choose to take their selfies. Instead of sand this is a beach featuring rocks and stones, so it's advisable to go there with shoes on to be able to go swimming in comfort.

Cala en Cranc

The cove Cala Cranc stands out thanks to its crystal-clear waters and its crescent shape, perfectly framed by cliffs with the best views in the area. It's located right between the beach Ses Dones and the cove Cala Blanca. It’s not very big, only 150 m long, but usually not very crowded and therefore the perfect spot for a swim and to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the more well-known beaches.

Cala Blanca

This small hidden cove on the Andratx coast is a natural haven, and to access it you have to walk down a steep slope or approach it directly from the sea. The effort is worth it, because Cala Blanca is a beautiful cove with pebbles and turquoise waters, surrounded by pine trees – a perfect spot for snorkelling enthusiasts.

Cala Llamp

Cala Llamp is a tiny cove with a rocky seabed that opens up into the sea at the foot of the mountain Sa Talia. It's located in the area of Port d'Andratx, about 10 minutes by car from our hotel in Camp de Mar. You will be surprised at how comfortable you can get on these large, smooth expanses of rock with a beautiful view of the island Dragonera. This cove also offers several chill-out bars where you can have a drink before returning to the hotel.
