A 350-metre beach flanked by pure turquoise waters make Cala Mesquida one of the greatest treasures in Mallorca. The ideal place to disconnect from the world. It is surrounded by nature in all its splendour, including large flocks of seagulls and cormorants that accompany the spectacular scenery. Just a few minutes away by car, Capdepera and Artà are two towns that both offer a combination of history, culture and cuisine that perfectly complements the unforgettable holiday experience in Cala Mesquida. 

What to see near Cala Mesquida: 

  • Llevant Nature Reserve: a protected natural area containing both the beach and a number of hiking trails with spectacular views.
  • Ses Païsses Talayotic settlement: one of the most complete and best preserved archaeological sites on the island.
  • Capdepera Castle: a medieval fortress that sits above the town of the same name, with panoramic views and a fascinating historical tour. 
  • Artà Caves: spectacular natural caves that can be explored on guided tours.
