Zafiro Hotels opens its first agrotourism hotel in Mallorca

The Zafiro Group is making its debut in a new hotel category with the opening of Son Sabater by Zafiro, a 4-star agritourism hotel located in Sa Pobla, just a short distance from Pollensa and Alcudia, in a peaceful natural setting in the Mallorcan interior. It is the company's first agrotourism hotel and is scheduled to welcome its first guests in June.

The new hotel provides 12 rooms and 3 exceptional villas, plus a garden, an outdoor pool with sunbeds and an indoor pool with countryside views. The hotels à la carte restaurant is also open to the public.

This hotel also signals the arrival of a new Zafiro Hotels brand named the Zafiro Boutique Collection, accompanied by Can Ribera By Zafiro, the company's second boutique hotel. Historical heritage: 15th-century Mallorcan estate

Son Sabater is an estate ("possessió” in Mallorcan) with a history dating back to the 16th century, and is listed as part of the historical heritage of Sa Pobla. The traditional construction has been renovated using local materials such as Mallorcan stone, and decorated with great care in a rustic yet sophisticated style by Marga Rotger, the Mallorcan interior designer who has also worked on the Zafiro Palace Collection.

Son Sabater by Zafiro is located at the foot of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Agrotourism offers a unique experience for guests that combines the peacefulness of nature with the authenticity of the charming surrounding towns and villages. Sóller has a web of narrow cobbled streets and a historic wooden train that winds its way through luxurious orange groves.
