What will your holiday be like this summer? Wonderful, as always! The Covid-19 situation means a few things have changed, but nothing that will stop you from enjoying your holiday to the full.

The large open gardens and terraces and the great choice of pools and restaurants at the Zafiro Palace Alcudia allows every couple, family or group of friends to enjoy the facilities while respecting their personal space and social distancing. Tables, chairs and sunbeds in outdoor spaces have been placed further apart following social distancing guidelines, and a maximum number of people has been calculated for each of the spaces.

We have also reinforced our water quality controls for all our outdoor and indoor pools, including Jacuzzis, constantly checking parameters to guarantee maximum disinfection and the elimination of microorganisms and bacteria.

Barbecue, Asian or Mediterranean à la carte dinners? Savour an exquisite culinary experience every evening in one of our à la carte restaurants which now have greater availability and a more limited capacity to avoid crowds.

Long mornings eating freshly sliced fruit, the most delicious pastries or freshly prepared eggs for breakfast? Your breakfast at the Zafiro Palace Alcudia will be just as healthy and tasty as ever to ensure you start your day full of energy. The buffet restaurant staff serve customers individually at the different buffet and show cooking stations, and the à la carte restaurants have a digital menu which can be seen using a QR code.

Zafiro Hotels has always cared deeply about people, and #ZafiroAlwaysCaring is a programme that includes measures to ensure you can enjoy your next holiday with total peace of mind. The result we hope for is that your holiday, as always, will be unique, exclusive and memorable.

On arrival, the reception team will provide you with a brochure with all the information you need so you can check it whenever you wish. You will find a few new things required to ensure the safety of everyone, such as the disinfectant mat at the entrance, stations with disinfecting gel or all our staff wearing masks, among other things.

So is a mask required? For the good of everyone, masks must be worn by both staff and guests in the reception area, in the reception area in the spa, and at the entrance to the main restaurant and while walking through the restaurant or visiting the buffet. This is an exceptional measure that will help us ensure the environment is safe for everyone and comply with the regulations defined by the local authorities. And what about in the pools? In swimming pool areas a mask is not required, providing social distancing is observed.

And outside the hotel? According to regulations in the Balearic Islands, masks are compulsory for people aged over 6 when on the street, in shops or in other closed spaces. And how is disinfection guaranteed?

Another new feature is the reinforcement of our normal hygiene and cleaning protocols, especially affecting public areas. You will see:

• Constant disinfection of surfaces which are touched a lot, such as handrails, stairs or lift buttons


• Deep cleaning of the room after the departure of every guest using the antiseptic products in official recommendations, with a special focus on areas which are touched a lot such as door handles, light switches, telephones or the TV remote control, among others.


• Maximum of one person or one family unit in lifts


• Ventilation protocols for constant renewal of high-quality air
