Beaches in the north of Mallorca: Cala Tuent and Sant Pere
The north of Mallorca is a fertile, fresh and colourful region, an area full of contrast, where the sea and the mountains embrace and give rise to the most beautiful little coves and beaches, rich in native flora and fauna.
Cala Tuent
Between Soller and La Calobra is the largest unspoilt cove in the whole of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, measuring about 180 metres in length. Surrounded by mountains and forest, immerse yourself in the crystal-clear turquoise waters and enjoy the surprises that await you on the seabed.
Sant Pere Beach in Mal Pas
A beautiful tiny beach with sand and rocks located next to Mal Pas in Alcudia. An easily reachable cove that combines an extensive beach lined with rocks from which you can also reach the water. This is a perfect beach for snorkelling thanks to the amazing transparency of the water and the important amount of local plants.
Our hotels in the Alcudia area are the nearest to these wonderful coves: Zafiro Palace Alcudia and Zafiro Tropic.
Beaches in the south of Mallorca: Cala Pi and Calò des Màrmols
The beaches in the south are stunning and the whole area is so spectacular that it’s like a picture of paradise: white sand and crystal-clear turquoise blue waters. A perfect combination!
Cala Pi
Between the regions of Llucmajor and Campos, Cala Pi is an incredible cove with intense blue water nestled between two sheer rock walls that are about 500 metres tall. This is a perfect place for beginners to snorkel as there are no strong currents or waves. Give it a go!
Caló des Màrmols
Possibly the most peaceful beach in Mallorca. The Caló des Màrmols is a small 40-metre cove next to Colònia Sant Jordi surrounded by high cliffs and with little vegetation, just a few pine trees and desert-style plants. You will never want to leave the clear blue waters that make it an ideal beach for snorkelling in Mallorca.
Beaches in the east of Mallorca: Caló des Moro and Cala Varques
Peace, charming fishing villages, crystal-clear waters... Sounds fantastic, right? The area known as Llevant is characterised by villages that are a long way off the tourist radar and the immense natural beauty of its beaches and coves. Close nearby, you will also find the Zafiro Cala Mesquida Hotel, the perfect place to stay and enjoy the island to the full.
Caló des Moro
One of the most spectacular corners of the island, found in the region of Santanyi. A sea inlet between two giant rocks full of vegetation with spectacular turquoise-blue waters. A real pleasure for all your senses.
Cala Varques
Immerse yourself in the deep blue waters of Cala Varques in the region of Manacor, with stunning rocky cliffs that make it perfect for snorkelling. A refuge surrounded by trees and local plants, discrete and with a hint of hippie spirit.
Beaches in the west of Mallorca: Port des Canonge and Clot d'es Moro
The traditional mountain villages, coves and beaches with crystal-clear waters and the slopes of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains contrast with the lively atmosphere in coastal towns with a special charm and great leisure facilities.
Port des Canonge
A picturesque Mallorcan scene with crystal-clear waters nestled between the rocks. Port des Canonge is a small town near Banyalbufar with all the ancient charm of a small fishing port and an ideal location for snorkelling. The seabed is full of rocks and plant life that form a hiding place for fish and cephalopods. But it's so easy to find them!
Clot d'es Moro
Very near Santa Ponsa, this marine reserve has an abundance of different species and is a fantastic place for snorkelling. There is also a pathway that takes you to the Isla del Toro, a spectacular islet surrounded by crystal-clear waters. Get your goggles on and enjoy!
We have several hotels in the west of the island that will allow you to enjoy this adventure to the full: Zafiro Rey Don Jaime, Zafiro Palmanova or Zafiro Palace Palmanova. What more could you wish for?
