Relax & Care insurance

Cancellation costs will be refunded up to a maximum of €10,000 if you have booked a Non-Refundable or Semi-Flexible rate, and if the cancellation is due to any of the causes contained in the policy, such as:

1. Death or serious illness of the insured person or immediate family members.

2. Loss of employment of the insured person.

3. Serious complications with a pregnancy or premature birth.

4. Jury duty or election duty.

5. Serious damage to the residence or work premises of the insured person.

6. Theft of any documentation required for travel.

7. Flight delays of more than 24 hours.

8. Urgent surgery on the insured person.

9. Piracy in the air, on land or at sea.

10. Declaration of a disaster area in the destination.

Relax & Care insurance covers cancellation due to delays of more than 24 hours, provided they prevent your trip taking place or have lasted more than half of the duration of your expected stay. Your booking fees will be refunded, provided they have not been refunded by the airline. If you are unable to enjoy the first night of your stay due to a delay, you will be reimbursed for its cost provided the delay is due to technical problems, bad weather, natural disasters, intervention by the authorities or force majeure. Cancellation insurance is only included for website bookings with Non-Refundable or Semi-Flexible rates.

If you meet any of the conditions described above and have booked a Non-Refundable or Semi-Flexible rate, please follow the steps indicated below at least 24 hours before your expected arrival date at the hotel:

1. Contact our Customer Care team by email customercare@zafirohotels.com or by calling +34 902 570749 requesting the cancellation of the booking and the invoice for the cancellation expenses.

2. Once you have the invoice, contact the insurer by email flexmyroom@arag.es providing your personal data and your policy number and attaching the invoice and proof of the reason for the cancellation.

3. After reviewing all the documentation, the insurer will contact you directly.

The insurance covers the person who made the booking and their travel companions. To make sure everyone is covered, all the guests must be correctly registered. You can do this using the following link: https://app.flexmyroom.com/en/. If you’re making a booking for someone else, make sure their details are also included.

Relax & Care insurance does not cover guests who have not booked direct through the official Zafiro Hotels website. Neither does it cover bookings made on https://packageholidays.zafirohotels.com, nor those made using the resellable rate available on our website. To enjoy all of the insurance coverage, make sure you book direct on our official website and choose the compatible rates.
